16 Days Campaign To Combat Violence Against Women

The concept of disability includes “persons with disabilities” all persons with long-term physical, mental, intellectual or sensory impairments that may prevent them, when dealing with various barriers, from participating fully and effectively in society on an equal basis with others (CRPD) , 2006). The WHO disability classification includes vision, hearing, communication, remembering, concentration, movement and use of upper limbs, learning disabilities, and mental health.

Violence against women is a violation of women,s human rights and prevents them from enjoying their fundamental freedoms and rights such as life, personal security, education, health, housing and the right to participate in public life. Check out the link to follow our events for 16 Days.
