Worldwide, at least one in every three women, an estimated 736 million women, have experienced some form of gender based violence. This figure is not inclusive of sexual harassment. These acts of violence affect women more in low income countries. In Zimbabwe, about 1 in 4 women have experienced sexual violence. This program aims to bring awareness in an effort to afford all Zimbabwean women basic human rights and encourage the Zimbabwean society as a whole to work towards this goal.
