Please join us in the inaugural event of 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, which will be held in Master Canteen Square where the mass pledge will be administered and placard will be demonstrated to symbolize our support to promote gender equality. This year, we stand in solidarity with informal women workers across the world, whose lives and livelihoods have been acutely impacted by COVID-19.
As part of the UN’s 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, we organised a mass pledge to help end gender-based violence across 17 districts of Odisha state in India.
More than 20000 people took the pledge to symbolise their support towards women and to draw the attention of the government, media and civil society to end Gender-based violence.
In this effort, our members organised a mass pledge in the Master Canteen Square of @Bhubaneswar, India to promote gender equality. Also, placards were demonstrated to ensure our commitment to a violence-free society.
