16 Days of Activism Morning Staff Tea and Education Session

The Services Union is a trade union which advocates for workers across Queensland, Australia. We represent members working in frontline Domestic and Family Services and we advocate for proper Government funding and resources for these services.
We also have been campaigning for years to ensure all our members have access to paid Domestic and Family Violence Leave through Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and policies. As part of the Australian Unions campaign #WeWontWait, we also campaign and lobby the Australian Government to legislate a minimum of 10 Days paid Domestic and Family Violence and for this leave to become a National Employment Standard.
The Services Union each year participates in the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence through educating our members and getting their participation in this campaign. We also campaign via our online platforms during the 16 Days campaign.
We will also be holding our annual 16 Days Educational Morning Tea in our Union’s Office in Brisbane.
