Sisters Diary joins the rest of the world to mark the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence in a spectacular way. The event is hosted via zoom by Delight Yawa Adufutse, the program Manager for Sisters Diary. She is joined by three phenomenal church leaders who doubled as resource persons. They are in the persons of Lady Pastor Awura Adwoa Nkum, Rev. Theresa Boaben and Mrs Florence Awurakua Ashaley. The event starts at 4pm GMT and will be joined by quite a number of participants. The session is very interactive as touches on questions like:
1. What actions does the church take against leaders who engage in acts of violence?
2. What support does the church to to victims, since gender-based violence is a major health issue?
3. What is the stance of the Bible against gender-based violence?
The panelists are very resourceful to the conversation and will share in-depth knowledge which touches on the core of the topic discussed. Educative and insightful thoughts will be shared for everyone to start a relationship on the right path and on a good note. An advice is shared to love each other equally to avoid hurting ourselves.
The event lasts for a two hour session and also gives opportunity to participants to send in questions which will be duly answered, leaving participants happy with their expectations satisfied.
