In the Coalition of Immokalee Workers’ most recent report to date, an extensive look at the Fair Food Program is provided in terms of its implementation and achievements. It was found that at least 1 in 3 women experience sexual harassment in the workplace. However, an estimated 75% of workplace sexual harassment is never reported to employers or law enforcement. By taking preventative measures, the Fair Food Program aims to combat forced labor and violence and ensure basic necessities and healthy working conditions. These include the immediate termination of supervisors found to be perpetrators of sexual harassment and the upholding of supervisors’ responsibility to prevent, identify, and report cases of sexual harassment or violence.
